FITZWORTHY EQUESTRIAN CENTRE, located in the Dartmoor National Park, is a friendly run riding and livery centre for all. Mrs Kim Northcott-Pilling and her team try to please all riders that come to the centre, from the very young to the more mature person.

The horses at the yard are well cared for and will always come first. Our instructors are fully qualified and can provide training on your own horses if required. Whether you want to visit for Hacks, Private Tuition or just enjoy a Ride, we aim to please.

Fitzworthy Kids Club is very busy on a Saturday morning, with lots of young people working hard together as a team, not only to progress their riding skill, but also getting the chance to experience working on a yard and gaining atcheivements, in both equine and non equine topics. 

Training for BHS Stages can be arranged by BHS qualified staff.

We offer work experience for schools, colleges and universities (Vet and Animal Science Students), also training for Scout Achievement Badges. All organisations, Youth Clubs etc are welcome to further their equine education and knowledge here at Fitzworthy.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Fitzworthy undertakes to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment as required by law. Members and visitors to the equestrian centre are required to report to the Yard Office on arrival and are not to enter any stall or stable without prior consent by a member of staff. Persons under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless prior arrangement with Fitzworthy staff.
